Ecological Landscape Design
Landscape Architect, Univeristy of Guelph
Permaculture Design Certificate
Rob Miksza has always had his hands in the soil. His grandparents were avid gardeners who started a victory garden in the shadow of World War 2. They owned a very small urban lot, yet managed to produce amazing abundance to feed their family. It was they who instilled in him the sense of joy one can get from growing food and encouraged him to keep the family tradition of growing food. Now Rob shares that joy and knowledge with others
Since his youth he passionately studied gardening and design and eventually graduated as a landscape architect from the University of Guelph. He currently works in this field with a focus on international park/resort design. His portfolio includes clients such as Atlantis resorts, Disney and Marriot Hotels but his true passion is always focused on exploring regenerative design on a home scale. He is currently finishing his Permaculture Design Certificate with Geoff Lawton and is looking forward to sharing this knowledge with his students.
Rob is a dedicated instructor and wishes to see his students succeed in their goals. His easy-going manner and his ability to simplify complex ideas makes his classroom an enjoyable experience.
