I have purchased both of your books and have subscribed to the online text and just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying the materials. I have studied horticulture at the college level and I am a master gardener but your material has answered many nagging questions that I was left with. I also love that you offer online certificates. I am planning to enroll in the certificates when work quiets down. You should be commended for the work you are doing to foster the organic landscaping movement! You are a role model for the gardening world!

Bio

I enjoy running my own gardening business which involves consulting and coaching, design and light maintenance in West Saanich and area. I have been running this business since 2005 and have found great pleasure in this industry and a wonderful connection with my customers.

I received a Diploma in Forest Recreation in 1983 and have worked in the outdoors in many aspects since then. I spent two years co-ordinating recreation in Ucluelet, B.C. when I first arrived on the West Coast in 1986. I moved to Victoria in 1990 and became active in many gardening programs and courses through Gaia College and the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific.

I am finishing my last certification this spring towards the Organic Land Care Diploma with Gaia College and am happy to help as an instructor in the Plant Knowledge for Organic Gardeners.

I very much enjoy sharing knowledge with the many interested life gardeners and growing together with this ever changing environment. Gaia College draws many caring people from all over the world to share and learn. Our fragile world needs this care and devotion more than ever and sharing in this connection will only strengthen this ever present task.

I presently own a home in the Saanich Municipality of Victoria where I enjoy many hours of gardening and recreational activities. I live with my two older children (daughter 18 years, stepson 22 years) and my three spoiled cats. I enjoy hot yoga and mountain biking which keeps me active, healthy and happy.
